an ASOIAF knowledge-graph interface
A book-grounded researcher for A Song of Ice and Fire. It answers from a knowledge graph built from the source material, supplemented by the ASOIAF wiki — an incredible, lovingly built and maintained wikipedia for the universe. This graph would not be possible without it. Ask a question, and you will get the answer, backed by citations from the books, down to chapter and line. It will also show you every graph lookup it made to get there. As of right now, theories are NOT integrated into the graph, and the persona querying the graph will not allude to or infer any potential outcomes after A Dance with Dragons — though it can make inferences based on the text alone. Theory integration is the next stage.
The Weirwood Network is a hand-built knowledge graph of the ASOIAF books: 8,978 typed nodes (characters, events, places, houses, artifacts, foods, songs) joined by 27,101 typed edges (CAUSES, TRIGGERS, MOTIVATES, ENABLES, and more).
Every node and edge carries a confidence tier: Tier 1 is a verbatim
book line with a chapter:line citation, verified against the
source text; Tier 2 is sourced from the wiki; higher tiers are
interpretive. 1,833 nodes carry
curated book quotes — 6,847 in all,
each one extracted verbatim from the chapter it cites.
When you ask a question, an agent works the graph with typed tools. It resolves names and aliases, reads nodes, walks causal chains, traces family trees, searches the quote layer, and browses whole categories and curated themes (such as meals & feasts, my favorite). Just to the right of the prose (or at the bottom if on a phone) you can watch the LLM working its graph tools in action. It does not guess.
A citation gate checks every chapter cited in an answer against what the tools actually returned this turn; an answer citing something that cannot be matched is marked as unverified.
